UPS Pickup Request
Spring 2024 MCAS Alternate Assessment

Dear Principals and Directors of Charter Schools, Approved Private Special Education Schools, Educational Collaboratives, and Special Education in Institutional Settings:

The purpose of this website is for you to schedule your school's pickup of test materials from the spring 2024 MCAS Alternate Assessment (MCAS-Alt).

In order to maintain a standard test administration and reporting schedule across all schools, UPS pickup must be completed according to the dates listed in the administration schedules posted to the Department's website at www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/cal.html.

NOTES:
Do not leave secure materials unattended while waiting for UPS pickup. The principal is responsible for ensuring that materials are kept in locked storage until they are given directly to the UPS driver.

  • You will need to provide the total number of cartons in your shipment. Do not schedule a separate pickup for each carton.
  • UPS may come to pick up your school's materials anytime during your school's business hours (which you will enter on the next screen). Please schedule a minimum of a six-hour window for the pickup.
  • Requests for pickup on the following business day must be placed before 2:30 p.m. (Requests for same-day pickup and requests for pickup more than two days in advance cannot be honored.)
  • You may give your cartons to your UPS driver if you have regularly scheduled service. If you choose this option, call the MCAS Service Center at 800-737-5103 or email mcas@cognia.org to report that the pickup has been made.

Please contact the MCAS Service Center at 800-737-5103 or via email at mcas@cognia.org if you have any questions or problems accessing this website. For more information about MCAS-Alt, please visit the Department's website at www.doe.mass.edu/mcas/alt/.

Thank you for understanding that returning test materials by the prescribed deadline is critical to maintaining their security.
